The Ghani Group founded in 1959, is one of Pakistan’s most prestigious corporate houses. The Group owns and operates diversified business ventures exhibiting phenomenal growth and tremendous export lines serving clients all over the world, and not just Pakistan. The Group is also serving as a beacon of Shariah-compiant business practices and ethics, not only for the industry it operates in but generally for all businesses in the country. The Group started with a distribution company involved in distributing fertilizers, cement, etc. In 1963, the Group ventured into mining salt, coal, and silica sand under the umbrella of its first project “Ghani Corporation”. In the following years, multiple ventures around the mining business were conceived and executed which gave distinction to the Ghani Group as being the largest private mining corporation in Pakistan.
With the blessings of Allah Almighty, the Group’s initiatives kept on meeting rapid success in the 1990s when it started diversifying into other industries. As a result, success stories such as Ghani Glass, a household name for glass manufacturing. Ghani Automobiles, and Ghani Mines, a symbol of excellence emerged. The establishment of Ghani Halal Feed Mill in 2015 and Ghani Dairies in 2019 based on the most modern European technology is another testament to the Group’s continuous effort to explore new business opportunities in Pakistan. Today’s Ghani Group serves as a beacon of professional and ethical excellence demonstrating how businessmen can achieve wordly welfare within the boundaries defined by Allah Almighty.
